Rather than use the single red LED
that came with the drives's faceplate...

... I'd like to use the green and
red LEDs that came with the 1541 II

I squared up the hole a little and the LEDs fell right in.

It's too big to fit into the faceplate.
I'll push the LEDs all the way on the PCB.
I'll move the wires to the other side of the PCB.

The LEDs are flat on the PCB and the tops
have been sanded flat. Compare to above photo.

Re-attach the wires on the other side of the PCB.
