I picked up a can of
fast drying sanding primer.

I gave it two thick coats, waiting for
it to dry between coats. The purpose of the primer is to sand it off till it's smooth.

A little touch up layer of bondo.

If you look close, you can just see the outline of the patch. Prime and sand, prime and sand. I'm going for smooth.
