Wooden Deck

An over grown,
unused back yard gets a makeover.

A small deck at the sliding glass door is
connected to the main deck by a walkway.

Here is the main deck.
It is built around a large
tree which was recently
cut down and used for a table base.

Cedar stepping stones to the back
gate winding through the mondo grass completes this low maintenance yard.

The tree stump used as a table base. Later I came back and cut a hole in the center for the tree to grow up through,
as it didn't die.
